"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."  Matthew 6:33

While struggling to decide what to say in this website it occurred to me that whatever is said and however the practice is described, it must begin with my faith.  So this page was the first page drafted.  I believe that God created us to have a relationship with him.  His gift of eternal life is through belief in Jesus. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" Acts 16:31.  Jesus was God on earth.  He came and lived a perfect life and died as a sacrifice for our sins and God raised him from the dead.  And to all that believe this have the gift of a relationship with God for all of eternity.  Not from anything we do, but by believing and following Jesus.  "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast."  Ephesians 2:8-9  So he gave us the choice to accept His free gift or not.

While I first believed in Jesus as Lord in my youth, I have been and still am a work in progress.   But I believe what it says in the Bible "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."  John 1:12.

It is nothing I do or do not do that makes me a child of God other than to believe and follow Jesus.   Scripture says "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved"  Romans 10:9-10.

So I believe in Jesus and I pray you do too.
